This is good enough.

Only two more work days for me at my real job. It looks like I will be able to make the bills this month and possibly next month if things stay this steady. I’m trying to avoid real jobs at all costs.

Shiftcore has been keeping me very busy, which is a good thing. We’re about to send out a mass mailer to promote the new team and to ask for more business. I hope to be swamped this time next week - if you or someone you know needs design, hit us up.

Today’s pissy attitude was brought to you by people not responding to IM’s.

Getting Real, Get It Now and Get Rid of the Bloat.

Getting Real, the amazing ebook from 37 Signals is now online and completely free. Great read for anyone considering a web based startup.

“So far we’ve sold over 23,000 copies of Getting Real in PDF format. We introduced it on March 1 of this year, so we’re pretty thrilled with the results. But 23,000 readers isn’t enough. We want millions of people to read the book. So today we introduce two new flavors that make the content even more accessible.”

In need of change.

As you may have noticed, I have installed a new theme for this blog. To be honest, I was sick of the previous version before I finished designing it.

I’ve been sick of a lot of things lately; school, work, design, the weather… pretty much everything except ze. (thanks devin for introducing us.)

Things are a bit crazy now in my world… to say the least. My last day of 9-5 at my current job is November 3rd, I thought i’d be a bit more excited than this. In reality, i’m scared to death. I have jumped on to the back of every good idea i’ve had in the last few months, hoping that one may carry me through this. I’d love to hear some words of encouragement!

On a lighter note, I was recently asked to join the team over at Shiftcore Studios. Shiftcore is made up of a few of my close friends in the music industry. My role there will be to provide logistics and design with a dash of CMS. I will also be handling outsourcing when necessary.

I’ve made a decision to be more focused and more organized - step 1: clean house.
